Sumario:This article aims to discuss the peculiarities of translation for scenic construction in Latin America, its character of cultural translation. Considering this, it is necessary to ask questions about context, about aesthetics and about what matters in a certain space and time. For this purpose, four staging originated from translations are analyzed: two from Portuguese to Spanish (Till and La mujer que andaba en Círculos) and two from Spanish to Portuguese (Clase and Hilda Peña).
