En este artículo me propongo describir y analizar una serie de eventos que organizó el sindicato de Camioneros durante el año 2018, con el objetivo de mostrar que estos tienen aspectos ritualizados cuya función principal es la de generar adhesión al sindicato y a sus dirigentes. Sostengo que en la realización de estos eventos se producen relaciones que son fundamentales en la representación sindical porque son espacios que hacen a la vida interna del sindicato: festejos, conmemoraciones, actos solidarios, entre otros. A lo largo del artículo analizo cómo se enlazan estos eventos ritualizados con la capacidad del sindicato de construir representación: muestro cómo la producción de la legitimidad del sindicato y de sus dirigentes es clave para comprender su capacidad de negociación y de movilización. El análisis y la descripción de estas situaciones adquieren sentido en la medida en que se relacionan con la capacidad de los dirigentes de representar a los trabajadores camioneros. Neste artigo descrevo e analiso uma série de eventos organizados pelo sindicato dos caminhoneiros durante o ano de 2018, com o objetivo de mostrar que eles possuem aspectos ritualizados cuja principal função é gerar adesão ao sindicato e seus dirigentes. Sustento que na realização desses eventos são produzidas relações fundamentais na representação sindical porque são espaços que compõem a vida interna do sindicato: festas, comemorações, atos de solidariedade, entre outros. Ao longo do artigo, analiso como esses eventos ritualizados estão ligados à capacidade de construção de representação do sindicato: mostro como a produção da legitimidade do sindicato e de suas lideranças é fundamental para entender sua capacidade de negociação e mobilização.
