In spite of this an interethnic system was established in which multiculturality is the main feature. The fundamental economical activities are: cattle, fishing, hunting, gathering carried on historically by indigenous households, although in present days because of the economical crisis also are practiced by poorest "criollos” families. Another activity is cotton harvest spread all over the province. The crisis which affected the local economy as long with the changes occurred in the work process of cotton production linked with seasonal work, became more critical the situation of the households who lived in the Teuco and Bermejito basin. First of all we analyze the peculiarity of the productives activities and the process of migrant workers engaged in cotton harvest. Second, we try to explain about some features of the local crisis over local economies. Nos proponemos en este trabajo analizar las actividades económicas desarrolladas por la población asentada en el interfluvio Teuco—Bermejito de la provincia de Chaco (Republica Argentina). Se trata de familias criollas, tobas y wichis, debido a ello se configura un escena rio interétnico signado por la multiculturalidad. Las actividades productivas más importantes son: la ganadería desarrollada casi exclusivamente por unidades domésticas criollas, la caza, pesca y recolección llevadas a cabo histéricamente por familias aborígenes, pero que hoy ante la crisis económica también son practicadas por numerosos grupos criollos pauperizados y la cosecha del algodón. La crisis de las modalidades productivas locales así como los cambios acaecidos en los procesos de trabajo de los cultivos industriales (como el algodón) que limitan notablemente las posibilidades de inserción laboral estacional, agrava las condiciones de subsistencia de las familias del interfluvio.Primeramente analizamos las particularidades de las actividades productivas y el proceso de venta de fuerza de trabajo llevado a cabo por migrantes que participan como trabajadores asalariados en la cosecha del algodón.
