Assuming a polyhedral structuring dimension and considering the temporality between the advent of the Great War and the outbreak of the war confrontation in the colonial space, this set of studies provides a close interaction between different aspects of observation on the war and/or its repercussions. Rather than focusing on the immediate visions of war conflicts, especially those produced by the primary agents of the military structure, the dossier emphasizes different parameters for understanding the phenomenon. El dossier Imágenes de la Guerra en el Siglo XX Portugués pretende corresponder a postulados analíticos transversales y realizar una aproximación extensiva al fenómeno beligerante en el contexto nacional portugués. Asumiendo una dimensión poliédrica estructurante y teniendo en cuenta la temporalidad entre el advenimiento de la Gran Guerra y el estallido del enfrentamiento bélico en el espacio colonial, este conjunto de estudios proporciona una estrecha interacción entre diferentes vertientes de observación sobre la guerra y/o sus repercusiones. En lugar de centrarse en las visiones inmediatas de los conflictos bélicos, especialmente las producidas por los agentes primarios de la estructura militar, el dossier hace hincapié en diferentes parámetros de comprensión del fenómeno. O dossier Imagens da Guerra no Século XX Português procura corresponder aos postulados analíticos transversais e proceder à abordagem extensiva do fenómeno beligerante no contexto nacional. Assumindo uma dimensão poliédrica estruturante e aferido a uma temporalidade compreendida entre o advento da Grande Guerra e o dealbar da confrontação bélica no espaço colonial, este conjunto de estudos propicia uma interacção estreita entre vertentes diferenciadas de observação sobre a guerra e ou as respectivas repercussões.
