Sumario:The difference between the image that professionals design and the use that destinataries give to urban space represents an specific object of anthropological studies. This difference talks about the field of urban imaginary, a whole of simbolic and referred representations about urban space. In this work, we study urban "show-cases" and urban identitys, urban space’s ’behinds" and "forwards" as entrance, center and exit; as side and inside of half-way rank city’s urban imaginary. Programing professionally with images, forces to take into account imaginary, and to assume the universals of disciplinar perspective. Relativism, that postmodernism has oportunelly rescued, must not be despied as a tool to considerate simbolic use of the city. Anthropologists have recognized its importance: the importance of cultural dimension in social transformation.
