Architectural Analysis and Management and Conservation Plan” are presented. The objective of this work is to discuss the application of traditional architectural categories in the context of the elaboration of a monitoring program; and to propose new categories from a perspective that integrates current constructive methods. For this purpose, an analysis on different scales has been carried out: Wall Units (UM), Enclosures (R), and Architectural Units (UA). The results obtained show that Ranchillos is an archaeological site where different construction techniques coexist, resulting in the presence of morphologically different enclosures and a high degree of variability in terms of architectural units. The results allow us to advance in the development of a monitoring program to optimize decision-making regarding preservation on specific sectors of the site, based on the knowledge of both the types of walls according to their constructive characteristics, and the types of walls according to their function and relationship within each architectural complex.
