After the source Informe al Rey of Bartolomé Alvarez was published we know nowadays that in Oruro a ritual of the same name and similar traits was discovered. Taki onqoy is one of the earliest messianic movements of the Andean region, if wetake into account those happening after the European invasion. Its importance grows because its ideology addresses to gods not known by the Incas and, at the same time, emphasizes minor deities of Tahuantinsuyu. Additionally it neglects the power of Inti, the solar god and divine father of the ruling dynasty.      El presente artículo es una síntesis de la nueva dimensión del estudio del movimiento mesiánico del taki onqoy, cuya extensión en el siglo XVI se pensó circunscrita al Obispado del Cuzco. A raíz de la publicacióndel Informe al Rey de Bartolomé Alvarez ahora sabemos que un ritual del mismo nombre, y con características similares, fue descubierto en Oruro. El taki onqoy es uno de los mesianismos más tempranosen los Andes, si nos referimos a los que fueron provocados por los europeos. Su importancia crece en la medida en que su ideología plantea la existencia de dioses desconocidos por los Incas y, a su vez, da primacía a las deidades menores del Tahuantinsuyu, además desconoce el poder del Dios Sol o Inti, el padre divino de la dinastía gobernante. Este artigo é um resumo da nova dimensão no estudo do movimento messiânico do taki onqoy, cuja disseminação no século XVI se acreditava estar limitada ao Bispado de Cusco. Após a publicação do Relatório ao Rei, de Bartolomé Alvarez, sabemos agora que um ritual com o mesmo nome e características semelhantes foi descoberto em Oruro. O taki onqoy é um dos primeiros messianismos nos Andes, referindo-se àqueles originados pelos europeus. Sua importância cresce à medida que sua ideologia postula a existência de deuses desconhecidos para os incas e, por sua vez, dá primazia às divindades menores do Tahuantinsuyu.
