The article proposes to read the writings of the author's exile with the theoretical support provided by Jacques Derrida's concept of otobiography and to follow the critical contributions of Josefina Ludmer to read Sombras, nada más... as a transition between dense literature, as an aesthetic project and as a work (with its marks of authorship, style, specific reflection on the world and on literature itself - self-reflection and self-referentiality - the narrator represented as the writer of what we read, etc.) and certain aspects and resources of another modality such as the so-called “post-autonomous literatures”.

La obra ficcional de Antonio Di Benedetto moviliza una reflexión en torno al concepto de exilio, tema casi constante en su literatura, capaz de haber dispuesto y definido una cierta sintaxis muy marcada por elipsis, un novedoso montaje del significante, una retórica cuyos efectos algunos de sus críticos llaman extrañamiento y “deshumanización”, a lo que yo agrego desertificación de la escritura hasta una obsesiva búsqueda del silencio. El artículo propone leer los escritos del exilio del autor con el apoyo teórico que aporta el concepto de otobiografía de Jacques Derrida y seguir los aportes críticos de Josefina Ludmer para leer Sombras, nada más... como una transición entre la literatura densa, la literatura como proyecto estético y como obra (con sus marcas de autor, de estilo, de reflexión específica sobre el mundo y sobre la propia literatura —autorreflexión y autorreferencialidad—, el narrador representado como el escritor de aquello que leemos etc.) y ciertos aspectos y recursos de otra modalidad como las llamadas “literaturas posautónomas”. A obra ficcional de Antonio Di Benedetto mobiliza uma reflexão em torno ao conceito de exílio, tema quase constante na sua literatura, capaz de ter disposto e definido uma certa sintaxe muito marcada por elipse, uma inovadora montagem do significante, uma retórica cujos efeitos alguns de seus críticos chamam estranhamento e “desumanização”, ao que eu acrescento desertificação da escrita até hasta una obsessiva busca pelo silêncio.
