| Sumario: | This work is part of an investigation which focuses on the relationship betweenschools and families. In this paper, we analyze a specific educational policy, theIntegral Program for Educational Equality, created by the Ministry of Education(Argentina), aimed at urban schools that attend children in situation of “socialvulnerability”.The analysis is developed in two levels: on the one hand, considering thedocuments produced by the Ministry about this Program. On the other hand, inview of local practices registered through ethnographic work in a school placed inthe City of Buenos Aires, which is included in the Program. The articulation of both levels enlightens the knowledge about contemporarysocio-educational issues, the governmental attempts to work them out and thepractices and resignifications built in schools everyday life. |
