Based on the ethnographic fieldwork carried out together with La Nuestra Fútbol Feminista and adopting a historical-dialectical perspective of the public sphere, I examine the social relations, meanings and practices that are built around the Güemes football pitch in the Villa 31. I identify the disruptions generated by the insertion of women into this space, I analyze the narrations that are built around the conquest of the football field, and I explore the reconfigurations of the relationship between the public and the private spheres that this process entails. Finally, I show that the politicization of the oikos and the oikonization of public space can be simultaneous and mutually interdependent processes. En este trabajo analizo los sentidos generizados de lo público que se ponen en juego cuando un grupo de mujeres se apropia de un espacio construido históricamente como masculino: la cancha de fútbol. Basándome en el trabajo de campo etnográfico realizado junto a La Nuestra Fútbol Feminista y adoptando una perspectiva histórico-dialéctica de lo público, examino las relaciones sociales, los significados y las prácticas que (re)constituyen los sentidos de lo público (y lo privado) en torno a la cancha Güemes de la Villa 31. Identifico las rupturas generadas por la irrupción de las mujeres en este espacio, analizo los relatos que se articulan en torno a la conquista de la cancha, y exploro las reconfiguraciones de la relación entre lo público y lo privado que conlleva este proceso. Por último, muestro que la politización del oikos y la oikonización del espacio público pueden ser procesos simultáneos y mutuamente interdependientes. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar os sentidos de gênero do público que são postos em jogo quando um grupo de mulheres se apropria de um espaço historicamente construído como masculino: o campo de futebol. A partir do trabalho de campo etnográfico realizado em conjunto com La Nuestra Fútbol Feminista e adotando uma perspectiva histórico-dialética da esfera pública, examino as relações sociais, significados e práticas que se constroem em torno do campo de Güemes na Villa 31. Identifico as rupturas geradas pela irrupção das mulheres nesse espaço, analiso as histórias que se constroem em torno da conquista do campo e exploro as reconfigurações da relação entre o público e o privado que esse processo acarreta.
