We do not know if this characterization will be valid to be projected back in time, in order to obtain an image of the pre-European moment. However, we hope this work will allows us to review some views on the life of the Tehuelche that present them as primitive, simple or without foresight and with features of disorganization in their economy, social and political life. El trabajo intenta profundizar sobre el concepto de nomadismo entre los tehuelches en base a datos históricos de sus movimientos referidos al período comprendido entre 1770 y 1870. El objetivo específico es caracterizar el nomadismo de los mencionados grupos tehuelches en el período propuesto, dado que los datos de las fuentes son abundantes. No sabemos si esa caracterización será válida para ser proyectada hacia atrás en el tiempo, a fin de obtener una imagen del momento pre-europeo. No obstante, deseamos que este trabajo permita revisar algunas miradas sobre de la vida de los tehuelche que los presentan como primitivos, simples o sin previsión y con rasgos de desorganización en su economía, su vida social y política. Este artigo busca aprofundar o conceito de nomadismo entre os tehuelches com base em dados históricos sobre seus movimentos entre 1770 e 1870. O objetivo específico é caracterizar o nomadismo dos grupos tehuelches mencionados durante o período proposto, considerando a abundância de dados de origem. Não sabemos se essa caracterização será válida quando projetada no tempo para obter um panorama do período pré-europeu.
