Sumario:The metaphor of the famous novel allows to reflect on loss and longing, but also on reconstruction. From there the question arises: what did virtuality take away in terms of teaching at FADU-UBA? This research assumes that the most affected was the workshop, both in a spatial and pedagogical meaning. From there on, this problem is analyzed from the observation of reality and the field of didactics, with the aim of promoting the debate on the return to the face-to-face modality in the 2022 school year, thinking, why should we return to the workshops?
