Como resultado de la comparación de dos investigaciones etnográficas proponemos una reflexión sobre las violencias que ilumine tres áreas nodales para la discusión sobre este concepto. Primero, interpretaremos a la violencia como un «recurso» y analizaremos sus criterios de uso. Segundo, estudiaremos las condiciones sociales que definen la utilización de este «recurso».
