Furthermore , taking into account the literature about and some other academics findings towards contemporary/postmodern/emerging geographies, this article’s purpose is to share some thoughts on the subject. Different analytical keys will be involved, each of them through the light of the current academic context. Although we recognize that reality appears complex and dynamic, “untying” the socio-spatial is a relevant maneuver to understand more reliably certain issues and problematizations that appear confusing. In this contribution, social space, socio-sexual space and sexual space can be delimiting and intelligible geographical keys for cultural-social analysis. El espacio geográfico, muchas veces, resulta abstracto para quienes investigan o buscan investigar su dimensión sociocultural. En este sentido, considerando la revisión bibliográfica y algunos hallazgos de un recorrido académico con intereses que se inclinan hacia las geografías contemporáneas/posmodernas/emergentes, se propone una reflexión para precisar dicho objeto en distintas claves analíticas y cotejarlo brevemente con el contexto académico regional actual. Si bien reconocemos que la realidad se presenta compleja y dinámica, “desanudar” lo socio espacial constituye una maniobra relevante para comprender más fehacientemente determinados temas y problematizaciones que se presentan confusos.
