In turn, differentiating itself from the enlightened currents of the time, it gives a place diverse to women within the fabric of the political community. In this way, Pérez’s gazetteer and gaucho work leaves a mark on the literature of the region, making the common people (female and male) a leading subject in the framework of the fictional sovereign people proposed in his prints. This, which is expressed as a formal variety and a diversity of voices, far from constituting a fault in terms of the gaucho realization of his work, is a plus that, seen in retrospect, operates as a brand and irruption, and a way of intervening in public space and its aesthetic and political disputes. La obra de Luis Pérez pone en juego un modo de ficcionalizar a los sectores plebeyos que introduce una novedad y una particularidad en la región del Río de la Plata hacia 1830. A su vez, diferenciándose de las corrientes ilustradas de la época, otorga un lugar diverso a la mujer dentro del entramado de la comunidad política. De este modo, la obra gacetera y gauchesca de Pérez deja una marca en la literatura de la región haciendo de la plebe (femenina y masculina) un sujeto protagonista en el entramado del pueblo soberano ficcional que proponen sus impresos. Esto, que se expresa como una variedad formal y una diversidad de voces, lejos de constituir una falta en cuanto a la realización gauchesca de su obra, resulta un plus que, visto en retrospectiva, opera como marca e irrupción, y un modo de intervenir en el espacio público y sus disputas estéticas y políticas. A obra de Luis Pérez põe em jogo uma forma de ficcionalizar os setores mais comuns que introduz uma novidade e uma particularidade na região do Río de la Plata por volta de 1830. Ao mesmo tempo, diferenciando-se das correntes ilustradas da época, concede um lugar diversa para as mulheres dentro do tecido da comunidade política. Desta forma, a obra jornalística e gauchesca de Pérez deixa uma marca na literatura da região, fazendo do povo (feminino e masculino) um sujeito protagonista no quadro do povo soberano ficcional proposto em suas gravuras.
