This article seeks to address that other great construction of the uruguayan poet that was achieved through a very personal way of publishing her work. Seeks to explore the itinerary of her publications: study her successive titles, the unpublished poems in her archive, and consider her passion for anthologies and the motives and ideas behind that tenacious and deliberate architecture of meaning. Amparada, seducida y acaso inducida, incluso, por la fuerza del mito que rodea a la poeta de Nocturnos y Poemas de amor, la crítica ha reparado últimamente en la construcción de una figura de autor que se funda en su escritura íntima –diarios, correspondencia– tanto como en sus poemas. Este artículo busca atender a esa otra gran construcción de Idea Vilariño que ha sido la de su obra a través de una personalísima forma de editar. Busca recorrer el itinerario de sus publicaciones a la luz de la composición de los sucesivos títulos, de todo lo que no entró en su Poesía completa y hoy revela su archivo, de su pasión por las antologías y de la exploración de los motivos y las ideas que hubo detrás de esa tenaz y deliberada arquitectura de sentido. Protegidos, seduzidos e talvez até induzidos pela força do mito que cerca o poeta Idea Vilariño, os críticos têm notado ultimamente a construção de uma figura do autor que se baseia em sua escrita íntima –jornais, correspondência– ambos como em seus poemas. Este artigo busca atender a essa outra grande construção da Idea Vilariño que tem feito o seu trabalho através de uma forma de edição muito pessoal.
