In his analysis ignores the excellence criteria applicable to scientific publishing to take a second look at the reality of librarianship in Argentina, located in a developing country, where libraries are poor and insufficient and without a poweful information system, which is why the emergence of a number of periodical titles brings enthusiasm and optimism in front fo a complicated reality. The third view focuses on the ideals Argentine and Latin American librarians, in the library research, and in new directions and paradigms in both existing and those who challenge the status quo. The four eye focuses on the virtues of writing about the research done, on what is done in the libraries labor, and what is expected, because no title will remain without the constant contribution ol librarians. La primera mirada del autor identifica y enumera las publicaciones periódicas argentinas especializadas en Bibliotecología existentes en 2000, más la mención a algunas ya cesadas. En su análisis deja de lado los criterios de excelencia aplicables a la edición científica para echar una segunda mirada sobre la realidad bibliotecológica argentina, panorama localizado en un país con bajos niveles de desarrollo, donde las bibliotecas son pobres e insuficientes y carente de un potente sistema de información, es por eso que la aparición de un número importante de títulos de periódicas aporta entusiasmo y optimismo respecto de una realidad tan complicada. La tercera mirada enfoca en los ideales bibliotecarios argentinos y americanos, en la investigación bibliotecológica, en las nuevas orientaciones y en los paradigmas tanto existentes como los que desafiarán el statu quo.
