The contribution of various doctrinal positions and the most relevant comparative law regulations on the subject will be examined. El trabajo propone delimitar el marco jurídico y el alcance del concepto de empresa debido a que el Código Unificado la introduce sin definir, a través de la obligación de llevar contabilidad. Se abordará el estudio de las diferencias existentes entre sujetos que realizan «actividad económica organizada»; «titulares de empresa» y «titulares de establecimiento comercial».
