One of them, have been closed neighborhoods, through a set of individual homes, separated from the outside by walls or fences and equipped with security facilities. From a geographical perspective, there are numerous works on closed neighborhoods in Argentine cities; however, there are no previousinvestigations for the study area. Therefore, the objective aims to analyze these developments and their impact on the process of urban expansion of theGran Resistencia, studying the real estate dynamics that favors its location in the periphery of the agglomerate. We work with the cartography of the municipalities and satellite images of Google Earth, supplemented with information obtained from interviews conducted with residents in closed neighborhoods and real estate operators linked to these ventures. Durante las primeras dos décadas del siglo XXI, el aglomerado Gran Resistencia se ha expandido sobre sectores aledaños, mediante diferentes modalidades de ocupación. Una de las mismas, han sido los barrios cerrados, conformados por un conjunto de viviendas individuales, separados del exterior por muros o cercas y equipado con instalaciones de seguridad. Desde la perspectiva geográfica, son numerosos los trabajos sobre barrios cerrados en ciudades argentinas; sin embargo, no existen investigaciones previas para el área de estudio. Por ello, el objetivo pretende analizar estas urbanizaciones y su incidencia en el proceso de expansión urbana del Gran Resistencia, estudiando la dinámica inmobiliaria que favorece su localización en la periferia del aglomerado. Se trabaja con la cartografía de los municipios y las imágenes satelitales del Google Earth, complementado con información obtenida de entrevistas realizadas a residentes en barrios cerrados y operadores inmobiliarios vinculados con estos emprendimientos. Durante as duas primeiras décadas do século XXI, o aglomerado Gran Resistencia expandiu-se em setores próximos, através de diferentes modos de ocupação. Um deles, foram bairros fechados, através de um conjunto de casas individuais, separados do exterior por muros ou cercas e equipados com instalações de segurança. De uma perspectiva geográfica, existem numerosos trabalhos em bairros fechados nas cidades argentinas; no entanto, não há investigações anteriores para a área de estudo. Portanto, o objetivo visa analisar esses desdobramentos e seus impactos no processo de expansão urbana da Grande Resistência, estudando a dinâmica imobiliária que favorece sua localização na periferia do aglomerado. Trabalhamos com a cartografia dos municípios e imagens de satélite do Google Earth, complementados com informações obtidas de entrevistas realizadas com moradores de bairros fechados e operadores imobiliários vinculados a esses empreendimentos.
