Their literary production addresses the experience of being uprooted and the condition of the migrant, making it a space from which to look upon the nation of arrival, its inhabitants and social strata,emphasizing the multiple contradictions of this world. This context subverts —at least symbolically if not materially—the marginality of the migrant and calls into question the double absence that the Franco–Algerian sociologist indicated as a dramatic condition of every migrant worker. El trabajo se propone observar las obras de Amara Lakhous y Gunter Silva Passuni, intelectuales —argelino el primero y peruano el segundo— que comparten la decisión de vivir fuera de su propio país, habiendo elegido Europa, Italia y Gran Bretaña respectivamente. Su producción encara la experiencia del desarraigo y la condición del migrante volviéndola un espacio desde donde mirar a la nación de llegada, sus habitantes y capas sociales, haciendo hincapié en las múltiples contradicciones de este mundo. Una operación que subvierte —al menos simbólica, si no materialmente— la marginalidad del migrante y pone en entredicho la doble ausencia que el sociólogo franco–argelino indicó como dramática condición de todo trabajador migrante.
