| Sumario: | The end of the Civil war precipitated the march into the exile of thousands of Spaniards. In this paper we discuss the particular case of Mariano Ruiz-Funes and his pilgrimage through the exile that took him to Mexico. He was a professor of criminal law in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and in the Colegio de Mexico. He participated in the spaces of sociability of exile in Mexico, such as the Union of University Professors Exiles. From these spaces he worked actively in denouncing the new Francoist state. During this period he maintained his friendship with Luis Jiménez de Asúa, who lived his in exile in Argentina. |
