The results show that students value statistics positively and they consider them important to both their learning and their future teaching activity. Nonetheless, they also feel that statistics are unpleasant and they tend not to use them out of any educational environment. Es un hecho conocido que la estadística es una de las disciplinas que generan poca empatía entre los estudiantes. En este trabajo se presenta un estudio acerca de las actitudes hacia la estadística que manifiestan los estudiantes del primer curso del grado de Educación Infantil de la Universidad de Córdoba. Para su análisis, se utilizó una escala tipo Likert diseñada y utilizada por diversos investigadores en educación matemática. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes evaluados valoran positivamente la materia, la consideran útil para su formación y para el futuro ejercicio de su profesión docente, pero, además de generarles poco agrado, evitan usarla fuera del aula.
