Associated management of functions and services, municipal unions and merged municipalities. Evolution of institutions
This article discusses ways of collaborating between local entities, for the execution of services and functions. It analyzes the forms of compulsory association, as well as the constitutional problems facing such obligatoriness. Finally, examples of some mergers of regional discipline are given.

El presente artículo discute acerca de las formas de colaboración entre los entes locales, para la ejecución de servicios y funciones. Analiza las maneras de asociación obligatorias, así también, como los problemas constitucionales frente a tal obligatoriedad. Por último, se dan ejemplos de algunas de las fusiones de disciplina regional.
