The article presents progress of the research project “Democratic openness and its impact on Social Work. Fields of professional intervention, new public institutions and the relationship with the social policies of the provincial state (1983-1987)” that we developed in the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Córdoba with endorsement and financing from the Secretariat of Science and Technology of the National University of Córdoba (Secyt UNC).
We will address the fields of intervention of Social Work as derived or constituted from the development of particular social policies, which address various expressions of the social issue, in which our profession was in demand and developed a practice with a technical profile, of a strongly interventional nature.
In the written productions of the period reviewed, the fields of application or action of the Social Service are defined based on a segmentation of reality, of the social, which is presented as multiple particular problems that will be addressed in a fragmented manner by different " state and non-state institutional sectors. The fields of action, the fields of application of Social Work are then defined based on this segmentation of reality and the fragmentation in the responses to these particular social problems. |

El artículo expone avances del proyecto de investigación “La apertura democrática y su incidencia en el Trabajo Social. Campos de intervención profesional, nuevas institucionalidades públicas y la relación con las políticas sociales del estado provincial (1983-1987)” que desarrollamos en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba con aval y financiamiento de la Secretaría de Ciencia y Técnica de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (SeCyT UNC). Abordaremos los campos de intervención del Trabajo Social como derivados o constituidos a partir del desarrollo de políticas sociales particulares, que atienden diversas expresiones de la cuestión social, en los que nuestra profesión fue demandada y desarrolló una práctica con un perfil técnico, de carácter fuertemente interventivo. En las producciones escritas de la época revisadas, los campos de aplicación o de actuación del Servicio Social se definen a partir de una segmentación de la realidad, de lo social, que es presentada como múltiples problemas particulares que serán atendidos de manera fragmentada por diferentes “sectores” institucionales estatales y no estatales. Se define entonces los campos de actuación, los campos de aplicación del Trabajo Social a partir de esta segmentación de la realidad y de la fragmentación en las respuestas a estas problemáticas sociales particulares.
