The objective is to explore the relationship between the field of Feminism and the profession/discipline of Social Work and focuses on the dialogical encounters and cross-debates between both fields in the Argentine context. The study covers the period from the late 1980s to the 1990s. The research aims to recover the history of these dialogues from the voices of social workers that we group into first and second generation. The development of the work is structured into 3 axes or topics: 1) The state of disciplinary debate about the links between feminism and social work. 2) The experiences and professional trajectories of first and second generation social workers and the dialogues with the feminisms of the 80s and 90s. 3) approaches to the process and the ways in which Feminisms were incorporated into Social Work courses in the Argentine context during the period. En este trabajo sintetizo algunos resultados de mi tesis de Maestría en Trabajo Social de la UNER denominada “Diálogos e intersecciones entre el feminismo y el trabajo social en las décadas de los 80 y 90 en Argentina”. El objetivo es explorar la relación entre el campo del feminismo y la profesión/disciplina de Trabajo Social y se focaliza en los encuentros dialógicos y debates cruzados entre ambos campos en el contexto argentino. El estudio abarca el periodo comprendido desde fines de los años ochenta hasta los noventa. La investigación se propone recuperar la historia de estos diálogos a partir de las voces de las trabajadoras sociales que agrupamos en las de primera y segunda generación. El desarrollo del trabajo se estructura en 3 ejes o tópicos: 1) El estado de debate disciplinar acerca de los vínculos entre el feminismo y el trabajo social. 2) Las experiencias y trayectorias profesionales de las trabajadoras sociales de primera y segunda generación y los diálogos con los feminismos de los 80s y 90s. 3) las aproximaciones al proceso y a los modos en que los feminismos se incorporaron a las carreras de Trabajo Social en el contexto argentino durante el periodo.
