Likewise, recovering contributions from feminism, we propose to learn about aspects linked to the process of feminization of the assistance field as well as the diffusion of gender precepts in force at the time, attending to and analyzing their expressions in the training and performance of social workers. As part of this study, it is considered that an important analyzer to link the academic political project of the UNLP to the initial training of social workers (year 1938) are the first Study Plans of the career. In this sense, in this work we contextualize and analyze the changes between the 1938 and 1948 Study Plans of the Hygiene Visitors Career, identifying the theoretical-practical aspects that are transformed in the training, paying special attention to those linked to the feminization processes of the profession. El escrito se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación “Asistencia social y formación de las trabajadoras sociales de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, 1905- 1969”, el que abona al conocimiento de las particularidades regionales y locales en las cuales emerge la profesión y asociado a ella, como parte de ese proceso, la formación y el ejercicio profesional en determinadas instituciones, principalmente ligadas al Estado. Asimismo, recuperando aportes de los feminismos proponemos conocer aspectos ligados al proceso de feminización del campo asistencial como también la difusión de los preceptos de género vigentes en la época, atendiendo y analizando sus expresiones en la formación y en el desempeño de las trabajadoras sociales. Como parte de este estudio se considera que un analizador importante para vincular el proyecto académico político de la UNLP a la formación inicial de las trabajadoras sociales (año 1938) son los primeros Planes de Estudios de la carrera.
