We place ourselves in a perspective of analysis that reflects on everyday situated practice and we understand that all knowledge construction processes occur in a relational framework that provides conditions of possibility for learning, including historical practices, artefacts and routines that can be accumulated and used later. From a historical ethnographic perspective, we analyse the modalities of knowledge construction that occur in Antarctica. We investigate the practices developed by scientist and technician personal, considering the circulation of knowledge, routines and use of artefacts and the development of communities of practice. We assume that all activity, including learning, is situated in and made of relationships between people, contexts and practices. In this way, we analyse how these relationships are configured considering the different backgrounds and trajectories of the subjects, variables such as the ‘Antarctic experience’, the number of research campaigns carried out, among others. Este trabajo se ubica en los debates en torno a los procesos de aprendizaje. Nos situamos en una perspectiva de análisis que reflexiona sobre la práctica cotidiana situada y entendemos que todo proceso de construcción de conocimiento ocurre en un entramado relacional que otorga condiciones de posibilidad al aprendizaje incluyendo prácticas, artefactos y rutinas históricas que pueden ser acumuladas y utilizadas con posterioridad. Desde una perspectiva histórico etnográfica, analizamos las modalidades de construcción de conocimiento que ocurren en Antártida. Indagamos en las prácticas desarrolladas por personal científico y técnico, considerando la circulación de saberes, rutinas y utilización de artefactos y el desarrollo de comunidades de práctica. Suponemos que toda actividad, incluida el aprendizaje, está situada en y hecha de las relaciones entre personas, contextos y prácticas. De este modo, analizamos cómo se configuran dichas relaciones tomando en cuenta las diversas formaciones y trayectorias de los sujetos, variables como la “experiencia antártica”, la cantidad de campañas de investigación realizadas, entre otras cuestiones.
