| Sumario: | The objective of this article is to analyze the constitutive and constituent processes of the current disputes in and for the island territory of the municipality of Santa Fe. In order to do so, we will give an account of the way in which the infrastructures, the floods and the production of life in the place gave a certain order to this island territory since its foundation and until 1970/80. To carry out this work we resorted to a qualitative methodological strategy, the instrumental case study (Merlinsky; 2008). We undertook a multi-method work where different empirical evidences converge. We also recovered the periodization proposed by Gioria (2009) to study the construction of the geographical space of Santa Fe. |
