This approach focuses on the role of the translator in the literary importation process and the functions of those editorial translations in of Argentina’s left‒wing political and cultural debates. A partir de dos ediciones argentinas de Vladímir Maiakovski preparadas por Lila Guerrero, Antología de Maiacovski. Su vida y su obra (Claridad, 1943) y Obras escogidas (Platina, 1957‒1959), este trabajo se propone, por un lado, situar cada traducción de Maiakovski en el catálogo editorial correspondiente y, por otro lado, analizar los textos que Lila Guerrero escribió para acompañar sus traducciones. Este recorte focaliza en el rol de la traductora en el proceso de importación literaria y en las funciones de esas traducciones editoriales en los debates político‒culturales de la izquierda argentina.
