The study is interdisciplinary in nature, analyzing jurisprudence in the light of local literary works. In the sentences, the legal institutes are linked, fundamentally, to the Law of Damages. At par; from the literary works of the narrative genre (legends of native peoples) and didactic (teaching and dissemination) worldviews emerge that understand differently the relationship of the human being and this phenomenon of nature. From the conjunction of knowledge, it is expected to achieve a different approach, which allows building a look that overcomes the reductionism that creates the Zonda, author of the violence suffered by the inhabitants. En este trabajo se abordan implicancias jurídicas, sociales y culturales generadas por el impacto del Zonda, un viento intenso y cálido que acaece, paradójicamente, durante el invierno en la región de Cuyo. El estudio tiene carácter interdisciplinario, analizando jurisprudencia a la luz de obras literarias locales. En las sentencias, los institutos jurídicos se encuentran vinculados, fundamentalmente, al Derecho de Daños (presupuestos). A la par; de las obras literarias del género narrativo (leyendas de pueblos originarios) y didáctico (enseñanza y divulgación) emergen cosmovisiones que entienden diversamente la relación del ser humano y éste fenómeno de la naturaleza. De la conjunción de saberes, se espera lograr un enfoque diferente, que permita construir una mirada superadora del reduccionismo que cree al Zonda, autor de las violencias sufridas por los habitantes.
