A look from the archive —in particular from the Cortázar Archive of the CRLA Archives in Poitiers, France— will allow us to read the latent —but illegible by the 1970s— meanings in the pulse of Cortázar's writing. Este artículo se propone volver sobre la novela Libro de Manuel, de Julio Cortázar, desde una perspectiva archivística para indagar la forma singular en que esta problemática escritura de Cortázar participó de su propio presente, forma que la vuelve susceptible de integrar una memoria intergeneracional abierta, un legado por venir, en la medida en que la apuesta del escritor por una imbricación entre escritura literaria, afecto y política se torna legible a la luz de las coordenadas históricas actuales. La mirada desde el archivo —en particular desde el Fondo Cortázar del CRLA‒Archivos en Poitiers, Francia— nos permitirá leer los sentidos latentes —pero ilegibles hacia los años setenta— en el pulso escritural cortazariano.
