With the opening of the Normal School of Paraná the establishment of psychology as a school discipline at the beginning of teacher training begins in Argentina from 1871, establishing an unprecedented teaching environment in our country. From an exploratory investigation and through a bibliographic design, the genesis, objective and disciplinary contents are investigated. For the production of data, documentary observation and content were used. Regarding the analysis, an exploratory reading of the documentary corpus and its codification was carried out. The theoretical and methodological perspective uses the critical history of psychology, the historical construction of school disciplines, the history of education and specific studies on the curriculum and teacher training in Argentina. The research allowed dismantling some assumptions and making visible the specificity of the relationships between psychology and teacher training in Argentina, as well as offering a tool with interpretive potential to review this training today. Presentamos una síntesis de nuestra tesis en docencia universitaria centrada en aportar evidencias para una historia de las problematizaciones de los objetos en el cruce entre psicología y formación docente en la Argentina. Con la apertura de la Escuela Normal de Paraná comienza el establecimiento de la psicología como disciplina escolar en los inicios de la formación de maestros en la Argentina a partir de 1871, instituyendo un ámbito de enseñanza inédito en nuestro país. Desde una investigación exploratoria y a través de un diseño bibliográfico se indaga la génesis, objetivo y contenidos disciplinares. Para la producción de datos se recurrió a la observación documental y al análisis de contenido. En cuanto al análisis se realizó una lectura exploratoria del corpus documental y su codificación. La perspectiva teórica y metodológica recurre a la historia crítica de la psicología, la construcción histórica de las disciplinas escolares, la historia de la educación y los estudios específicos sobre el curriculum y la formación de maestros en la Argentina.
