The results obtained by the students at the end of the courses from 1st to 4th year and the teaching modalities most used by the teachers were collected. The relationship between both variables and how they behave in different years was determined. The results indicated that there is a dependency relationship between performance and teaching modalities. Students obtain better performance with the theoretical modalities, which predominate in almost all the courses and as they advance in the career. Este trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de determinar la relación y el comportamiento entre el rendimiento que obtienen los estudiantes al final de los cursos y las modalidades de enseñanza que aplican los docentes, teniendo en cuenta que el rendimiento es considerado principal indicador de resultado del aprendizaje y referencia para evaluar la calidad de enseñanza y los logros académicos y por ser las modalidades de enseñanza un factor interno que puede incidir en el aprendizaje. Se colectaron los resultados obtenidos por los estudiantes al finalizar los cursos de 1° a 4° año y las modalidades de enseñanza más utilizadas por los docentes. Se determinó la relación que existe entre ambas variables y cómo estas se comportan en los diferentes años. Los resultados indicaron que hay una correlación de dependencia entre el rendimiento y las modalidades de enseñanza. Los estudiantes obtienen mejores rendimientos con las modalidades teóricas, las cuales predominan en casi todos los cursos y a medida que avanzan en la carrera.
