In this sense, we will describe his reading of the texts of the French psychoanalyst and the reasons why he maintains that his return to Freud excludes some of the most revolutionary elements of psychoanalysis. In the first part of the work, we will focus on the way in which Rozitchner establishes a difference with Lacan regarding the beginnings of the historical constitution of the subject. There, two very different ideas about the beginning of human life will be opposed: the maternal fullness against the constitutive dehiscence. This will allow us to advance, in the second part of the article, on the criticism that the Argentine philosopher makes of the characterization of Oedipus in three times, typical of Lacanian thought. Rozitchner will argue that Lacan excludes crucial elements of Freud's research on the parental complex. Once these two points have been analysed, we will focus on the political consequences that Rozitchner deduces from these differences with Lacan.
