Perspectivas analíticas sobre la reconfiguración de la justicia penal en América Latina Taboga, Julieta Reforms Criminal Justice Latin America Reformas Justicia Penal América Latina The objective of this article is to reconstruct the different social science analyses of criminal procedure reforms in Latin America between the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century. The review of these analyses will allow us to know which aspects of these reforms were explored by those who carried out these studies. The first section will focus on the evolution of these reforms over time. The second section, focused on the organizational dimension, will explore research on the incorporation of managerialism in reformed criminal procedure systems. Finally, we will reflect about the different actors who played a significant role in these processes. The purpose of identifying these analytical axes is, on the one hand, to outline a state of the art regarding this issue by presenting aspects common to these processes in the Latin American region, as well as certain particularities of these processes. On the other hand, this paper aims to make a contribution to those interested in reflecting on the design of new criminal justice systems in cases where their studies have focused more on their implementation than on their reconfiguration. Este artículo se propone reconstruir los diversos análisis que, desde las ciencias sociales, se realizaron sobre las reformas procesales penales producidas en América Latina entre fines del siglo XX y principios del siglo XXI. El recorrido por los mismos permitirá conocer qué aspectos de las mismas fueron explorados por quienes realizaron estos estudios. En una primera sección se abordarán investigaciones focalizadas en la evolución de estas reformas a lo largo del tiempo. En una segunda, centrada en la dimensión organizacional, se explorarán las indagaciones sobre la incorporación del gerencialismo en los sistemas procesales penales reformados. Finalmente se reflexionará sobre los diversos actores que tuvieron un rol significativo en dichos procesos. La identificación de estos ejes analíticos tiene como fin, por un lado, delinear un estado de la cuestión respecto de dicha problemática a partir de presentar tanto aspectos comunes a estos procesos en la región latinoamericana, como así también, ciertas particularidades de los mismos. Por otro lado, este trabajo se propone realizar un aporte para quienes se interesen en reflexionar sobre el diseño de nuevos sistemas de justicia penal en casos que sus estudios se hayan concentrado más en la puesta en funcionamiento de los mismos que en su reconfiguración.
