All of the texts, writing workshops, and scenes of production analyzed take place in the Devoto University Center, headquarters of the Buenos Aires University in the Penitentiary Complex of the same city. The materials that make up this corpus are heterogeneous in nature, yet strongly rooted in the literary realm: literary workshop experiences, texts created in a publishing workshop, written materials categorized as stories and manifestos. While legal discourse imposes a precise ordering of bodies and positions, literary writing offers a means of combatting this asphyxia; it provides a margin precisely where current regulations participate in policies of exclusion and death. In the analyzed texts, those who write while in incarceration draw on literature in order to construct places of enunciation, both precarious and political, from which to dispute meaning in regards to the law, justice and, to some extent, literature itself. In so doing, they mobilize literature as a tool to expose and contest forms of violence that stem from the contemporary punitive rationale. En este artículo analizamos los cruces entre la violencia de la lengua jurídica y la lengua literaria en producciones escritas en la cárcel. Todos los textos y escenas de escritura y publicación se ubican dentro del ámbito del Centro Universitario Devoto, sede de la Universidad de Buenos Aires en el Complejo Penitenciario de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Los materiales que constituyen el corpus son heterogéneos aunque fuertemente anclados en la esfera de significados de lo literario: experiencias del taller de escritura narrativa, publicaciones del taller de edición, materiales escritos identificados como cuentos y manifiestos. Mientras la escritura jurídica impone un ordenamiento preciso de cuerpos y posiciones, la escritura literaria viene a combatir la asfixia, da margen allí donde el recorte de posiciones forma parte de políticas efectivas de exclusión y de muerte. En los textos analizados, quienes escriben en la cárcel apelan a la literatura para construir lugares de enunciación precarios y políticos desde donde disputar sentidos sobre la ley, la justicia y, en cierta medida, la literatura. De esta manera, ponen en movimiento una función específica de la literatura como herramienta para desenmascarar y combatir violencias naturalizadas por la racionalidad punitiva contemporánea.
