This research is qualitative-quantitative and ethnographic in nature. It is oriented towards a socio-anthropological approach and, in effect, aims to enter a specific territory that, if applicable, is the classroom. Likewise, it is a descriptive-explanatory research. It consisted of conducting student surveys and an interview with the teacher. Said data collection instruments denoted that the application of didactic games in the classroom works as a reliable element to promote the meaningful learning of students in the Natural Sciences class. En la presente investigación se ha indagado sobre la aplicación de actividades lúdicas en el aula que fomenten el aprendizaje significativo de los alumnos. Esta investigación es de corte cuali-cuantitativo y etnográfico. Se encuentra orientada hacia un enfoque socio-antropológico y, en efecto, pretende adentrarse en un territorio determinado que, dado el caso, se trata del aula de clases. Asimismo, se trata de una investigación de tipo descriptiva-explicativa. Consistió en la realización de encuestas a los estudiantes y una entrevista que se planteó a la docente. Dichos instrumentos de recolección de datos denotaron que la aplicación de juegos didácticos en el aula funciona como un elemento fehaciente para promover el aprendizaje significativo de los alumnos en la clase de Ciencias Naturales.
