Sumario:The following work aims to make an approach to the concepts of death and suicide, as a philosophical ideas, in the work of the Romanian philosopher Emil Cioran. A tour of the author’s work is proposed, putting these ideas into discussion throughout the philosopher's work. In Cioran we will see how suicide is about postponement, while death is that possibility of salvation found in life. The Cioranian lyricism will be present from the first book of his, to denote from there the possible dialogue between the ideas of death and suicide. It is worth clarifying that we do not treat suicide as a clinical / medical concept, but as a philosophical concept ready to discuss it through the aforementioned works.
