A tour of the author’s work is proposed, putting these ideas into discussion throughout the philosopher's work. In Cioran we will see how suicide is about postponement, while death is that possibility of salvation found in life. The Cioranian lyricism will be present from the first book of his, to denote from there the possible dialogue between the ideas of death and suicide. It is worth clarifying that we do not treat suicide as a clinical / medical concept, but as a philosophical concept ready to discuss it through the aforementioned works. El siguiente trabajo pretende realizar una aproximación a los conceptos de muerte y de suicidio, en tanto ideas filosóficas, en la obra del filósofo rumano Emil Cioran. Se plantea un recorrido por la obra del autor, poniendo en discusión dichas ideas a lo largo de la obra del filósofo. En Cioran, veremos cómo el suicidio se trata de una idea, mientras que la muerte es aquella posibilidad de salvación que se encuentra en la vida. Se hará presente el lirismo cioraniano desde su primer libro, para denotar desde allí el diálogo posible entre las ideas de muerte y suicidio. Vale aclarar que no tratamos el suicidio como un concepto clínico / médico, sino como concepto filosófico presto a la discusión del mismo atravesado por susodichas obras.
