To this matter, we will carry out, at first, an analysis of the Consolatio as a philosophical genre, where we will address the work of the roman author and its peculiar characteristics. Secondly, we will focus the analysis on the therapeutic elements that are present in the mentioned work. We will apecially attend to the elements of stoic origin that can be found when the apparent goods, the passions that they generate, and their relationship with Fortune, are analyzed. In a third moment, we will indicate how those stoic-style observations lead to an analysis of human will and dignity. In fourth and last place, we will conclude the present paper with general observations on the present matter. En el presente trabajo proponemos mostrar la presencia de elementos estoicos en La Consolación de la Filosofía de Severino Boecio, en particular en los libros I, II, III y IV. Para ello realizaremos, en un primer momento, un análisis de la Consolatio como género filosófico en donde abordaremos la obra del autor romano y sus características peculiares. En un segundo término, centraremos nuestro análisis en mostrar los elementos terapéuticos que tienen presencia en dicha obra, centrándonos en aquellos de origen estoico que pueden encontrarse cuando se analizan los bienes aparentes, las pasiones que ellos generan y su relación con la Fortuna. En un tercer momento, expondremos cómo aquellas observaciones de estilo estoico desembocan en un análisis sobre la voluntad y dignidad humana. En cuarto lugar, culminaremos el trabajo con unas breves palabras finales sobre lo antes expuesto.
