Approximately 50% of the waste generated worldwide consists of organic matter. In this context, composting emerges as a sustainable alternative that allows waste recovery, reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers, and generates environmental, social, and economic benefits. Based on this, we set out to promote the implementation of a composting system at the Faculty of Economics and Administration located in the city of Neuquén (FAEA), considering this practice feasible due to the amount of organic waste produced. In addition, we observed a strong willingness from the university community, as shown in the results section. Furthermore, we intend for this work to serve as a foundation for future research and the implementation of similar practices in academic settings. Universidad Nacional del Comahue. A lo largo del cursado, los estudiantes llevaron adelante proyectos de investigación–servicio en los que articularon sus saberes de inglés con los contenidos propios de sus carreras y con la resolución de problemáticas reales de la comunidad. El proceso incluyó la lectura y el análisis de textos académicos en inglés para la elaboración del marco teórico, la selección de un problema relevante, el diseño e implementación de una metodología de investigación, y la comparación de resultados con los aportes de autores especializados.
