The objetive is to study the nets of politicalpower and the similarities between the Superintendent, the royal authorities andsocio-political guilds such as the landowners. This political and fiscal reorganization ofthe entire Monarchy was an attemp by the Crown and its ministers to concentratepolitical power and achieve greater and more efficient monetary income. In America,specifically in the Río de la Plata, the overlapping of political and administrativefuncions between its royal servants generated a series of disputes and conflicts that ledto the suppression of the Superintendency and the reclaim of fiscal Powers by theViceroy. El objeto de este trabajo es analizar la conformación y desarrollo de las Intendencias de Ejército y Provincia en el Virreinato del Río de la Plata a fines del siglo XVIII y en particular la Superintendencia de Buenos Aires entre 1782, año de su creación hasta su disolución en 1788. Se pretende abordar las tramas de poder político y las relaciones entre el Superintendente, las autoridades reales y los cuerpos sociopolíticos como los hacendados. Dicha reorganización política y fiscal de toda la Monarquía fue un intento de la corona y de sus ministros ilustrados de concentrar el poder político y lograr una mayor y más eficiente recaudación monetaria. En América, y específicamente en el Río de la Plata, la superposición de funciones políticas y administrativas entre sus servidores reales generó una serie de disputas y conflictos que derivaron en la supresión de la Superintendencia y la recuperación de las potestades fiscales por el Virrey.
