| Sumario: | The definition of “gender violence” is one of the most relevant indicators when it comes to recognizing feminist contributions to the design and evaluation of norms, protocols, laws, programs, training and jurisprudence throughout Latin America. This set of institutional actions that attempt to regulate gender relations is especially observed by feminists, which is why there is a very extensive body of research on the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies. In this article we seek to account for the importance of the continuation of this line of research/investigation in the current context in view of the national government’s closure of the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diverstity, created in 2019. We reflect on the incidence of a feminist culture on gender-based violence. |
