This set of institutional actions that attempt to regulate gender relations is especially observed by feminists, which is why there is a very extensive body of research on the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies. In this article we seek to account for the importance of the continuation of this line of research/investigation in the current context in view of the national government’s closure of the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diverstity, created in 2019. We reflect on the incidence of a feminist culture on gender-based violence. La definición de “violencia de género” es uno de los indicadores más relevantes a la hora de reconocer los aportes feministas en el diseño y evaluación de normas, protocolos, leyes, programas, capacitaciones y jurisprudencia en toda América Latina. Este conjunto de acciones institucionales que intentan regular las relaciones de géneros, es especialmente observado por las feministas, por lo que existe un acervo muy extenso de investigaciones sobre el diseño, implementación y evaluación de políticas públicas. En el presente artículo, buscamos dar cuenta de la importancia de continuar realizando estos trabajos frente al contexto actual en el que se decidió, desde el gobierno nacional, cerrar el Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad, creado en el año 2019.
