The specific technique is configured through indirect reference: the author represents spaces through the actions, thoughts or feelings of the characters. Thus, it could be said that this is a sinuous spatial representation parallel to the plot. Also uses precise elements with significant dissemination capacity, which hierarchize the function of the reader as a resonance and emotion box of spatial representation. As for the places, in interdependence with the author’s constitutive themes such as solitude and intimacy, the study records the development of the plot and the emergence of the character’s interiority in a kind of continuum between them and their environment. That is, there’s an architectural display of intimate scenes, where the expansion of the inner and subjective world finds a favorable zone to account for the spaces surrounding the characters. La rigurosa escritura de Carson Mc Cullers revela en sus cuentos una poética particular de los espacios, debido, por un lado, a la técnica que utiliza en su representación, y por el otro, al vínculo que establece entre esos espacios y la intimidad y la soledad. La puntual técnica se configura a través de la referencia indirecta: la autora representa los espacios a través de las acciones, de los pensamientos o de los sentimientos de los personajes. De esta suerte, podría decirse que se trata de una sinuosa representación espacial paralela a la trama. Asimismo, utiliza elementos precisos con capacidad de diseminación significativa, los que jerarquizan la función del lector en tanto caja de resonancia y de emociones de la representación espacial. En cuanto a los lugares, en interdependencia con los temas constitutivos de la autora como son la soledad y la intimidad, el estudio registra el desarrollo del argumento y la emergencia de la interioridad del personaje en una especie de continuum entre ellos y su entorno. Es decir, se produce un despliegue arquitectónico de escenas íntimas, en donde la expansión del mundo interior y subjetivo encuentra una zona favorable para dar cuenta de los espacios que rodean a los personajes.
