Sumario:Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been developing rapidly in recent times, different disciplines have already experienced the implementation of these in their planning, so it is necessary that History Teaching and its educators are also up to date. This article contributes to teacher training in the use of AI by means of Prompts Engineering, a discipline that helps educators to optimize the responses obtained from the virtual assistant through the correct development and creation of instructions. It also describes prompting techniques and gives examples that help to formulate them. In addition, it addresses warnings about common mistakes in prompting, ethical responsibilities of the teacher and projections of the subject.
