At the same time, the text emerges from a reality characteristic of the late 20th and early 21st centuries: the rapid increase in inequality as a global phenomenon and the way in which cities reproduce this process in their land use policies. Es una reseña sobre un texto de enorme relevancia en la medida que los autores condensan parte de su experiencia en el Ministerio de Desarrollo Territorial y Hábitat, que expresa, a nivel de Estado, la preocupación por la planificación territorial. A su vez, el texto es un emergente de una realidad propia de fines del S XX y comienzos del XXI: el acelerado incremento de la desigualdad como fenómeno global y la manera en que las ciudades reproducen ese proceso en sus políticas de uso del suelo.
