| Sumario: | This article describes the general guidelines of the political-electoral scenario of the province of Jujuy, focusing on Peronism and its actors, from the restoration of democracy in 1983 to the triumph in 2015 of the electoral alliance led by Radicalism. The local specificities of the Peronist Renewal of the 1980s and the particular dynamics that the political-party game acquired in Jujuy in the 1990s are analyzed, giving an account of the role that the local parliament assumed in the arbitration of power. Finally, the question of the configuration of a new leadership in Peronism at the turn of the millennium and its crisis in the face of the gravitation in the provincial power equation of the neighborhood organization “Tupac Amaru” is addressed. |
