After emergency remote teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, publications on these topics increased. It is worth wondering if digital competence and attitudes towards ICTs -both of teachers and university students- have changed after this time in which the need urged the display of favorable attitudes and digital competences of various kinds. The purpose of the article is to gather and systematize studies carried out with university students and professors between 2020 and 2023, the results of which allow us to compare the state of attitudes towards ICT and digital competence before the start of the pandemic and after its outbreak. From a qualitative methodological approach, a synthesis investigation was carried out, through which the results of six recent studies, selected based on specific criteria, were analyzed and systematized. The results show a point of convergence of these studies, in which more favorable attitudes towards ICTs and the development of digital competence in teachers and students are reported when measuring these variables after virtuality in a pandemic.
