Sumario:Research in Didactics of the social and human Sciences faces the challenge of knowing to offer opportunities in teacher training, teaching practices and meaningful learning. A new lineor area of research, which is beginning to become a concern, refers to social problems and interdisciplinarity. In this article, we present outlines of the journey of an exploratory research that addresses such concern. This is qualitative and critical research with a case study, wich seeks to map the situation of teaching and learning of social problems fro an interdiscilinary perspective in secondary schools in two cities en North Patagonia, Neuquén y Cipolletti. We conceive research as the posibility of producing situated knowledge with the intention of contributing to the formation of critical citizenships that are committed to the development of a democartic culture.
